This site's main purposes are to:

  • Provide a Collaboration Tool for Volunteers & selected Staff,
  • Hold data (documents, photographs, limited personal details of deceased persons, etc)
as a reliable resource for academic research pertinent to the history of the Camp.
In order to achieve this, full access is allowed only to those Registered Users, who are required to provide their name and personal email address to the administration team. New users are required to use the 'Password Reminder' link which generates their logon identity and password, sending both by email.

Names and email addresses are not available to any other than Supervisors and will never be released in any form to third parties. Note that using another person's logon identity is an offence under GDPR and may be prosecuted.

When information and items are provided to the site, administrators may record name and contact method of the provider (which may be an individual or organisation) to ensure accuracy and maintain quality control. Contact details are only available to supervisors and are never released to any other party. They can be deleted on application to the site supervisor.

Event Organisers may send group emails through the Site to all volunteers assisting in their event without seeing individual email addresses. This facility is intended to allow them to circulate briefing information and last minute instructions.

The Site uses session cookies while you are logged in and actively using it. These exist only during your current session and are deleted when you log out and leave the website. You should always log out when finished using the site.
